When you have photographs of your beautiful family taken, how do you want to feel while looking back at them? Do you want the forced poses and awkward cheesy smiles, or do you want to see the personality of your kiddos, the unbreakable bond you all share and the love you have for each other?

Getting my clients relaxed so that they put their guard down and allow themselves to fully express themselves, is my superpower. My family photo sessions are a stress-free, fun filled adventures, allowing kids to be kids and getting some heartwarming photographs through gentle prompts. It's the main ingredient in the photo experience.

When I first started photography it was a whole different story. When I first started posing families, I was overwhelmed with all the rules regarding traditional posing. Make sure no limbs are cut off, everyone is looking at the camera, capture everyone looking directly at the camera, pose them with their height in mind... It was a lot. I did master it, but it never felt right. It always felt forced, unnatural, stoic and cold... It didn't feel like my clients families. I couldn't feel the warmth, the love, the joy, the connection... So I took the rules, and decided to break them.

Once I allowed myself get free from the idea of what a family portrait should look like, it all clicked in place.

I started seeing family photography through a competely new lens - free from limitations, focusing solely on capturing the real emotions and adventures. And boy did it work.

I stopped posing and started prompting - gently guiding my clients to a place with best lighting, and then sparking emotions and reactions through gentle prompts. I've spent years perfecting this and now I can confidently say that I can make even the most camera shy families worries will melt away and they'll get beautiful, heartwarming photographs.

It may all sound very easy, but I can assure you it took me a long time to get it just right. To strike the right balance between getting clients to feel comfortable, but also do exactly what I want them to do, without feeling awkward or forced.

It definitely is an art, getting clients happy and natural in front of the camera.

Once I get everyone to feel comfortable, that's when the magic happens. That's when all worries fizzle out of my clients heads and they allow them to be their true authentic selves, following my creative direction and prompts, to let me peek into their beautiful story to capture it.

My 7+ year experience photographing families of all sizes and ages allows me to be dynamic and work with each individual family to get the best out of them.

I chase sunlight, making sure you are always lit in the most flattering way. Light can make or break an image, so I am always very intentional about where I place you and gently guide you.

No two sessions are the same, and I absolutely love the adventure of that! I work closely with each individual family to ensure their photo session is tailored to them. This, along side with carefully picked location, pre-session preparation and careful styling & directing ensures I get to tell your beautiful familys story through my lens.
